Cancellation Policy: Notice of cancellation must be given one week prior to reserved date in order to avoid cancellation penalties. Less than one week notice, two days rental fee will be charged to your credit card. If cancellation is made after vehicle has been delivered, 50 -100% of the rental price, depending on the agency, will be charged to your credit card.

Collision Damage Waiver (optional): CDW IS US$10-$17 PER DAY, depending on the car rental agency. CDW is not insurance. In the event of an accident, the client will be responsible for the first US$500 if CDW is purchased. If client declines CDW, he/she will be responsible for the first US$1500 in the event of an accident. With the purchase of CDW, a deposit of US$250 - $500 or signed credit card imprint is required at the beginning of the rental. If CDW is declined, a deposit of US$750 - $2500 or a signed credit card imprint is required at the beginning of the rental.

Some credit card companies offer car insurance to their clients. In some cases, this insurance may not apply to car rentals outside of their home country. It is the client's responsibility to determine his/her coverage. In the event of an accident, client understands that all repairs must be settled for locally. Client will be given copies of the bills, which they may then claim back from their credit card company at home.

Vehicle is delivered in good operating condition, and includes tires, tools, equipment, accessories, keys and vehicle documents. The Renter will pay for damage or loss of any part or component of the vehicle caused by accident, fire or theft, regardless of who is at fault, to the full value. Where CDW is accepted, responsibility for damages, after the first U.S.$500, is waived providing the vehicle is operated in accordance with all conditions of the contract. Vehicles must not be driven on the beach - it is against the law. Client is responsible for all gas used, flat or damaged tires, and traffic violations.
